Fun broadcast! I love it when the commentators love their subject, I’m ready to watch Rankin/Bass and Peter Jackson Middle Earth flicks from now to Christmas! Wasn’t Galadriel beautiful in the trailer? She was always a little sweet on Gandalf. Remember she wanted him to rule the White Council, rather than Saruman. But you guys brought up an interesting point. Peter Jackson -knows- people are going to think they are in love!

Yes, Gerry, for whatever reason — everything in that trailer was put in there FOR a reason. Some of it MIGHT be just because those were the most dramatic (and FINISHED) shots they had. But I wonder if Jackson wanted people to be thinking, “wha-huh?”
