Friends, where are the book reviews? I love movies but with a 9 year old son I don’t get to go to a lot of them (thank goodness for Netflix). There seems to be a dearth of really great Christian Sci Fi in print (though I loved “A Star Curiously Singing” by Kerry Nietz), but I like to read really interesting secular Sci Fi or fantasy with an eye toward discerning the world-view issues and comparing/contrasting them with Biblical truth. For example, I’ve never read “Ender’s Game”, but with the movie coming out, I’m curious to know how much OSC’s Mormonism peeks through. I did join the book club, but I read The Silver Chair to my son not too long ago, so I’m waiting for a non-Narnia genre selection. Thanks for reading. Blessings!

      Jim,
I hate to toot my own horn but I just started a Steampunk Children’s series called “The Jupiter Chronicles”. Check it out here: http://amzn.to/1d50yuE

Check out http://TonyBreedenBooks for Christian sci-fi that reviewers overwhelmingly describe as “action-packed” and “hard to put down,” yet “includes sound Biblical truths without being preachy.” ;]
