fascinating episode! i never understood the whole idea of rebooting, but i can see now why it might be necessary or desirable from the point of view of the studios, etc.

Thanks, Ryan! Glad you liked it! The funny thing is, the two main reasons we recorded this topic ended up getting cut from the episode! (The Star Trek trailer . . . and the Battlestar Galactica prequel web series, Blood and Chrome . . . we talked about Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica, but the episode was SOOOOOOO long some thing had to go. Our whole Planet of the Apes conversation got cut too! Maybe another episode . . . I love Planet of the Apes.

Interesting episode. For myself, I define a reboot where any preexisting material is ejected from canon.

That being said, I couldn’t fall in with Steve’s greatest reboot as a reboot.

But I would ascend Ben’s second greatest reboot to the greatest reboot.

I suppose ultimately, God will eventually reboot Earth… which will likely be significant. 🙂

On a side note, I first saw the above poster on a smart phone. I thought it was a guitar with the Superman S on the body.
