Enjoyed your list, Ben! Welcome nudges to see several films I should have seen by now, but I definiltey *really* need to see GREMLINS now. It is a big hit to my cred as a kid of the 80s that I still haven’t, but I’ve never been motivated to make time for it until you laying it out as a parable of original sin. Yes, I’ve heard it mentioned on lots of “non-Christmas movie Christmas movie” lists, but yours is the first I’ve heard make the theological connection. Doesn’t seem “weak” to me!
