The trio starts a new series, maybe, as they explore some of the earliest roots of science fiction. This episode covers fantasy and science fiction from antiquity to the late 1800s Gilgamesh to Frankenstein. Yes, it’s not sci-fi because science was not a part of some of this early material, but even these myths and fantastic tales contain elements that would eventually feed into the science fiction genre.
